I'm so thrilled Leduc has our own quality yarn store! Beautiful yarns, local hand dyed yarns, and the cutest shop assistant you've ever seen. She carries a great selection of notions, lots of books, and her custom embroidery!!! I was gobsmacked when I saw the final result. I can't say enough good things about this local gem. If excellent quality knitting and crocheting is valuable to you, this place is for you. This isn't a place that just competes on price of the lowest calibre items like a large scale retailer would. (Blackbird is not exclusive to experts. It does have entry level essentials for a fair price to be clear.) If you are looking for exotic materials and specialty goods, then Blackbird excels. They believe in what they do and are genuine with the identity they have.
