Tired of knitting flat? Have enough scarves? This is the workshop for you. Knitting in the round opens so many doors in the world of knitting, from hats and mitts to sweaters! This class will help you understand how to knit in the round using double pointed needles as well as the popular Magic Loop with circular needles.
We will be making 2 simple mug cozies as we learn to knit in the round (one each week), using the Mug Sweater pattern by Jerry Burch.
Supplies needed:
- 231yrds of DK weight yarn (up to two colours)
- 3.75mm double pointed needles
- 3.75mm circular needle 24” (60 cm) or longer
- Darning needle
- Stitch markers
Prerequisites for this class are:
- You know basics of knitting or have taken Beginner Knitting
